Utah's "underrated" parks are just as beautiful as the famous ones. They're less crowded because they're harder to reach and less Instagram-famous.
Goblin Valley, Capitol Reef, Dead Horse Point, and Monument Valley (shared with Arizona) are 2–3 hours from each other. A multi-park road trip is possible and recommended.
These three parks form a loose triangle within 2–3 hours of each other. You can base yourself in one town or move every 1–2 days.
Base option: Moab (central)
Distance: 1.5 hours to Capitol Reef, 1.5 hours to Goblin Valley
Pros: Best infrastructure, restaurants, accommodation
Cons: More expensive, more crowded
Base option: Green River (smallest, quietest)
Distance: 45 min to Goblin Valley, 1.5 hours to Capitol Reef
Pros: Cheaper, quieter, still central
Cons: Fewer restaurants (2–3 options)
